You can finish all the debates right now. With all do respect to the past greats, Tiger Woods is simple the greatest golfer to ever play the game.
For those who choose to continue to argue about it, I am not interested. What does interest me about Tiger is why he is such an amazing and dominate champion.
I have identified three principles from Tiger that I try to apply in accomplishing my own goals. I think you can use them for any objective you aim for.
First, Tiger is supremely prepared. Not only is he prepared physically, but mentally. He always knows what he wants to do and commits to it.
Second, Tiger says this a lot," I was trying to give myself a chance to win"! In other words, Woods tries to position himself to be able to win. You must do the same. You must make sure you get in the game you are trying to win. You must go to the meetings, meet the people who you can form a mutually beneficial relationship with.
Finally, Tiger Woods is patient and calculating. Still, he knows that playing it too safe will do you in. He knows when to take chances. You must also be willing to get out of the safe zone and take calculated chances, not reckless ones!
