People often connect falling off the wagon with drinking. For me, I like to use it to laugh at myself when I get off track with my goals. Usually it is my diet. I am on a strict diet ( having nothing to do with loosing weight ). Sometimes, chocolate just gets the better of me. OK, A piece here or there is alright. But when I go on a chocolate binge for a few days, I say, "I fell off the Wagon!"
This is a more positive approach and it helps me from getting down on myself. It also helps me remember that we will have setbacks in life and that we should not abandon our goals when it happens. Just get back on the wagon ;-)
