I often laugh when people tell me how much they hate Mondays. I just think it's funny. Even worse is when Sunday night rolls around and they start moaning about going to work "tomorrow." I look at things a little differently. As a result, I am more at peace mentally, enjoy my Sundays more, and look forward to Mondays. Impossible! you scream.
First, I never stress Sunday nights because I know I still have it to relax in, maybe enjoy a good movie or something. Once you start thinking about work, you are not living in the present, which is a big no- no for our readers. You can't enjoy life if you are never there. So don't bring work into your thinking. It takes a little practice at first but once you persist in moving your mind back to the present moment, it becomes a wonderful habit.
And as far as work is concerned. Every Monday morning, I think of all the exciting possibilities of life. What fun and exciting things I am going to do today. This also is a state of mind that takes practice. But once you master it, you will fall in love with Mondays for the first time, and for Sunday night- maybe catch a movie.
